Secure your place in one of the Coachella Valley’s premier amateur golf events. The City of Palm Desert Championship returns Memorial Day Weekend, May 23–24, 2026, for two days of competitive play on the acclaimed Mountain View and Firecliff courses at Desert Willow Golf Resort.

This registration is for Palm Desert Resident Teams. At least one player must hold a valid Palm Desert Resident Card.

Tournament Format

  • Saturday, May 23 – Mountain View Course
    2-Person Best Ball | 8:00 AM Shotgun Start

  • Sunday, May 24 – Firecliff Course
    2-Person Scramble | 8:00 AM Shotgun Start

  • Awards Luncheon following play on Sunday

Resident Team Entry Includes

  • Two rounds of championship golf (Mountain View & Firecliff)

Eligibility

  • Open to two-player teams

  • At least one player must be a Palm Desert Resident Cardholder

  • A current USGA/GHIN Handicap is required for Net competition

Practice Round Information

Practice rounds may be booked up to 60 days in advance and must be played between April 10 and May 22, 2026, after 11:00 AM.
Please note that May 18–22 Desert Willow will be hosting the NCAA Division III Women’s Collegiate Championship, and tee time availability will be extremely limited.
Players planning to schedule a practice round during this week are strongly encouraged to book as early as possible, and it is recommended to schedule practice rounds prior to these dates when possible.
